CERN Administrative Student Program in Switzerland 2024-25

The CERN Administrative Student Program for 2024-25 is now open for applications. This opportunity is available in Geneva, Switzerland, and invites all international students from around the globe. The program offers a fully-funded internship ranging from 2 to 12 months for students at the undergraduate and master’s level, allowing them to gain valuable experience at the world’s most advanced management platform. Importantly, there is no application fee required for this program.

If you have a background in areas such as Translation, Human Resources, Advanced Secretarial Work, Business Administration, Logistics, Law, Finance, Accounting, Library and Information Science, Engineering Management, Science Communication, Education, Audio Visual, Communication and Public Relations, Psychology, Audit, or Engineering, CERN offers an excellent opportunity to intern and enhance your skills in these fields.

The CERN International Internship Program covers all expenses for the selected candidates. This includes a monthly allowance and the opportunity to engage with CERN’s world-leading facilities and projects. Interns do not incur any costs and will receive a monthly allowance in addition to 2 to 5 days of paid leave each month.

CERN is not only the world’s leading research organization in physics and engineering but also a hub where interns can gain firsthand experience in advanced administrative methods. Financial Benefits of the CERN Administrative Student Program:

Eligibility Criteria for the CERN Administrative Student Program:

  • Applicants must be from a CERN Member or Associate Member State or studying in one of these states.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student and able to stay for a minimum of two months and a maximum of twelve months.
  • Must have completed at least 18 months of undergraduate study.
  • Must have a good command of English or French.

  • The latest academic transcript
  • A reference letter from your university professor, with an option to add a second reference from a previous internship.
