Job Description:

• Answering calls from external and internal sources. Directs the caller to the appropriate annex or room.
• Assists guests with directions or other information needed.
• Directs hotel staff to assist guests upon request.
• Communicates with callers in a clear and concise manner.
• Enter/write messages using correct grammar and spelling.
• Verify names and phone numbers.
• Use Kipsu in a professional manner to communicate, deliver and process guest requests and answer any inquiry received in writing.
• Ensure that the problem is resolved and reported to the relevant department.
• Properly handles all incoming urgent matters or emergencies for guests and the hotel.
• Works with hotel management and/or security to calmly direct appropriate action. Appropriately documents all emergencies.
• Turn on fax to send and receive transmissions to guests. Notify guests of receipts using the computer system.
• Receiving, transmitting, and documenting telephone calls, telegrams, telexes, and faxes.
• Passing messages and handling wake-up calls.
• Responsible for correct billing and payment.
• Close exchange of information with other departments in the hotel.

• Previous experience in a customer focused industry
• Positive attitude and good communication skills Commitment to providing a high level of customer service
• Calm, efficient and organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with guest
• In a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Competent level of IT proficiency
