Job Opportunity in Saudi Arabia Overview
China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd. (CHEC) is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with company financial policies and established accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and bookkeeping in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents while maintaining accurate and organized records.

Support bank reconciliation activities and follow up on discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.

Assist in tracking accounts payable and receivable and verifying routine expenses.

Support the preparation of tax-related documentation (e.g., VAT supporting files) under supervision.

Maintain organized accounting records (both electronic and hard copies), ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and easily retrievable.

Requirements

1–2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred; entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles with a willingness to learn and receive guidance from senior team members.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, especially in document filing and record-keeping.

Good communication skills and fluency in English.
