Eligibility Criteria for King Abdulaziz University Scholarships
To qualify for the King Abdulaziz University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Eligible countries: All countries of the world.
Bachelor’s Requirements:
- The student must be of good conduct and behavior.
- Obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.
- The student must not have obtained his high school diploma more than three years ago.
- Age: Not less than 17 years and not more than 25 years for the bachelor’s stage.
- Female students must be accompanied by a legally resident relative within the prohibited grades.
- Meet other required academic admission requirements.
Master’s and PhD Requirements:
- Age: Not more than 30 years for a master’s degree and 35 years for a PhD.
- Obtain a higher qualification recognized in his country with a grade of no less than (very good).
- Proof of proficiency in the English language through a recognized test certificate.
- Submit two letters of recommendation from former faculty members.
- Students must not have been dismissed from any Saudi educational institutions.
- Applicants to the programs in Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Law, Sociology, Psychology, and Information Sciences must be proficient in spoken and written Arabic.
Required Documents for King Abdulaziz University Scholarships
- CV: Provide an updated CV that outlines the applicant’s academic and professional experiences.
- Statement of Purpose: Must be written in English for all programs except Islamic Studies and Arabic Language, in which the applicant expresses his/her academic and professional goals and the reason for his/her desire to join the program.
- A copy of the previous university degree: Must be certified by the Saudi Embassy in the applicant’s country.
- A copy of the academic record: Must also be certified by the Saudi Embassy in the applicant’s country.
- Recommendation Letters: Letters of recommendation from two previous professors who can provide a detailed assessment of the applicant’s academic and personal abilities should be submitted.
- A copy of the passport: Must be valid for at least one year from the date of application.
- Photographs: Provide a number of recent and clear personal photos.
- Language Proficiency Certificate: Provide a certificate proving proficiency in the language required for the program, such as English or Arabic, depending on the requirements of the program to which he/she is applying.
How to Apply for King Abdulaziz University Scholarships ?
- Go to the King Abdulaziz University website.
- Search for the Registration or Admissions section and create a new account.
- After creating your account, log in and choose the type of program you wish to apply for: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate.
- Fill out the application form with all the required information accurately.
- Attach all the required documents.
