About Koç University Scholarship:
Koç University Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship and it is offered for bachelor’s, master’s and PhD studies. Koç University scholarship provides tuition waiver, monthly stipend, housing aid, private health insurance and travel support. The Koc University Scholarship is for those who want to Study MS, MBA, Masters, LLB, or Ph.D. in a Leading Famous Turkish University in any academic Fields & Majors offered at Koc University. There are More than 70 brand New and Exciting Graduate Programs are being offered this year.
Koç University Scholarship | Funding Provided:
For master’s degree:
- Tuition waiver (96,500 TL/year)
- Monthly stipend of 1,500 TL
- Housing aid (750 TL/month) or free furnished housing (shared by 3-4 students) nearby campus (Graduate housing may be offered to the limited number of MS students depending on the availability of resources)
- Private health insurance (limited coverage)
- Travel support (once a year, at yearly determined fixed amount) to attend scientific events.
For PhD degree:
- Tuition waiver (96,500 TL/year)
- Monthly stipend of 3,000 TL (Increases to 3,500 TL after the PhD qualifier)
- Housing aid (750 TL/month) or free furnished housing (shared by 3-4 students) nearby campus
- Private health insurance (limited coverage)
- Meal Card
- Free HGS (Fast Transit Pass) car stickers for campus entrance
- Travel support (once a year, at yearly determined fixed amount) to attend scientific events.

Koç University Scholarship | Eligibility Criteria:
- Required Language: English.
- All the applicants should apply through ONLINE APPLICATION PROGRAM.
- Submitting an application without the required exam scores (GRE, TOEFL) significantly diminishes your admission chances and therefore your scholarship chances.
- All applications are evaluated on the academic merits of the candidate and not financial need.
- Scholarship results are communicated to candidates with the admission offer letter from the relevant Graduate School through the online application system and by email.

Koç University Scholarship | How to Apply:
- To apply to Koç University’s graduate programs as an international student you need to complete an online application form.
- Please check carefully the relevant Graduate School website for detailed guidance on admission requirements, eligibility, minimum scores, and application deadlines.
- Applications with missing documents will not be taken into consideration.
- You should not email or post any documents to the university.
- There is no need for a separate scholarship application. You only need to apply to the program(s) of your choice. Scholarship decisions are based on academic merit and not financial need.
- You can indicate in your Statement of Purpose if you are the recipient or have applied to a specific scholarship scheme (country-based).
- The application process is free. There is no application fee (except for Master without Thesis programs in the Graduate School of Business)
Once you have submitted your application you will be able to upload only missing test scores in case they were not available when you submitted the application.

- I am not able to submit my application!
- Please make sure that there are no missing required fields that need to be filled in (these are marked with a red asterisk “*”)
- All the documents in the “Checklist” section are checked or you have marked the situation that best applies to you in terms of providing those documents.
2. When I try to upload my documents, I receive a message “This file is not supported”
- Please make sure that all your documents are uploaded in PDF format.
3. I cannot find the name of my school/university/institution on the list.
- Applicants who cannot find the name of their school name on the list should click on “I did not find my institution from the list”, in red below the underneath field, then the question allows them to type the name of their school.
4. My referee is not able to find the reference link.
- Please make sure that your referees’ email addresses are accurate; email addresses should be written correctly.
- Please remind your referees to check their SPAM/JUNK emails as sometimes the reference request link might be sent there.
5. I want to remove/change/edit my referee; how can I do this?
- You can simply untick the referee and then add a new one.
6. What is meant by the ID-Card number?
- It is your National Identity card number.
7. I don’t have a Turkish ID number (Kimlik ID); what shall I do?
- The Turkish National identification Number (TC Kimlik) is not a mandatory requirement for international applicants.
8. I want to delete/reorder my program preferences; how can I do that?
- Applicants can change the order of their priorities by using the up and down arrows or delete the program by using the bin symbol next to the programs.
9. How can I restore my application password?
- The applicant can do it by clicking the “Forgot your password”. Then, the system asks “click send a one-time link/register” and afterward, the applicant receives an email and verification with the pin to create a new password.
10. How can I make sure that my application is successfully submitted?
- Once you submit your complete online application, the system will send a conformation email regarding that. Please make sure to check your inbox in your application and your SPAM/JUNK emails.
11. Can I still edit my application after the admission session deadline?
- Yes, you can still edit your application, but, please note that if you do not submit your application again before the deadline and it remains Reopen, your application will be transferred to the next admission session evaluation.
