MPI Europe Internships in Belgium
Apply now for the MPI Europe Internship Program 2025 Providing six-month internship opportunities for students and recent graduates, MPI Europe is a non-profit research institute that aims to advance understanding of migration issues in Europe.
Rehearsals are offered twice a year; One fall session and one spring session.
Programs include training in research, finance and administration. Note that the application window for financial and administrative training has been closed, but you can still apply for research training. This training will take place in Brussels starting in September 2024, where you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of political issues under the supervision of experts in the field.
Applicants who are eligible to work in Belgium are invited to submit their applications online until July 1, 2024.

Place and duration of training
The training at the MPI Research Institute lasts six months and takes place in Brussels, Belgium. This training is considered a personalized programme, and all selected trainees must travel to Belgium to participate in the programme.
Autumn session: runs from September to February.
Spring session: starts from March and ends in August.

Eligibility Criteria for MPI Europe Internships in Belgium
- Knowledge of additional languages other than the mother tongue can be an advantage, especially in the field of international policy research.
- Ability to work using software such as Microsoft Access to manage data and information.
- The applicant must have experience in the field of policy research, which enhances his or her understanding and ability to contribute to research on migration and policy.
- Work within a research team to develop and implement studies, analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Participate in public and private events, providing an opportunity to network and enhance policy knowledge.
- Providing administrative support during events organized by the Institute or in which it participates.
