Eligibility Criteria for Muhammad Bin Zaid University Scholarships

Required Language: English.

Applicants must demonstrate their proficiency in English by submitting TOEFL iBT test results with a minimum score of 90, or IELTS Academic test with a minimum score of 6.5.

Master’s Degree Requirements:
Master’s applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science or its equivalent from a university accredited or recognized by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates, with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (on a scale of 4.0). University certificates and transcripts must be submitted in English upon application.

PhD Requirements:
PhD applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Science or its equivalent from a university accredited or recognized by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates, with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (on a scale of 4.0). Certificates and transcripts must be submitted in English.

Equivalency:
Students must submit an equivalency certificate for degrees issued in the UAE or abroad during the first semester at the university. More details on the equivalency and attestation procedures can be obtained from the Ministry of Education website.

GRE Test Score:
A score on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is an added advantage and may be taken into account during the evaluation of applicants (optional).
