Radboud Scholarship 2026/27 in the Netherlands (Funded)

The Radboud Scholarship Program offers an excellent opportunity for international students from non-European countries to pursue a Master’s degree in the Netherlands. This prestigious program allows students to experience authentic Dutch culture while studying at Radboud University, one of the country’s leading research institutions.

Applications are now open for the Radboud Scholarship 2026/27, which provides financial support by reducing tuition fees and covering essential expenses such as the visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance. For the academic year 2026–2027, a total of 33 scholarships are available for students enrolling in English-taught Master’s programs.

  • Visa Costs: Fully covered by Radboud University.

  • Residence Permit: Fully covered.

  • Health and Liability Insurance: Fully covered.

Note: The scholarship does not cover living expenses. However, applicants can apply for the NL Scholarship (offered by the Dutch government), which provides a €5,000 grant. The NL Scholarship can be combined with the Radboud Scholarship. Applications for the NL Scholarship open on 1 November 2025.

A total of 33 scholarships will be awarded across the following faculties:

  • Nijmegen School of Management – 6 scholarships

  • Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies – 3 scholarships

  • Faculty of Science – 8 scholarships

  • Faculty of Social Sciences – 8 scholarships


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Radboud Scholarship 2026/27, applicants must:

  1. Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.

  2. Have been admitted to a Master’s program starting in September 2026.

  3. Not be able to afford the full tuition fee.

  4. Have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from an institution outside the Netherlands.

  5. Meet the English language proficiency requirements set by Radboud University.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected based on:

  • Academic excellence and previous performance.
