Eligibility Criteria for Stanford University Scholarships

Required Languages: English.
Eligible Countries: Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program.
Academic Qualifications: You must have earned your bachelor’s degree in or after 2018 to apply for the 2025 academic year. You may apply if you apply within four years and enroll within five years of receiving your degree.
Required Skills and Qualities: You must be mentally sharp, seek new knowledge and experiences, have original ideas, understand complex situations and embrace different perspectives.
Additional Requirements: You must complete the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship application and application process, including any standardized tests required for the degree program you are applying for (e.g. GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT) and English proficiency tests when required.
Ambition and Character: You must be ambitious in the best sense of the word, driven to improve yourself and willing to take risks. You must be self-aware, persistent and able to overcome adversity. You should also be humble and kind on a personal level, accepting of differences, interested in and helpful to others.
English Proficiency: You must be fully proficient in English in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The minimum TOEFL score for most Stanford graduate programs is 100iBT or 600PBT. Dual Entry: In addition to applying for the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, you must apply to, be accepted to, and be enrolled in a full-time graduate program at Stanford. Each new Knight-Hennessy applicant must be a newly enrolled student in a graduate program at the university.

How to Apply for Stanford University Scholarships ?

You must first create an online account here to begin the application process.
Fill out and submit the online admissions application, which includes personal and academic details. The university will ask you to provide demographic and biographical information, as well as details about your activities and interests.
