UNSW Scholarships for International Students in Australia 2026
The University of New South Wales (UNSW), one of Australia’s leading research universities, is offering a wide range of scholarships for international students commencing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs in Term 1, 2026.
These scholarships aim to support outstanding students by covering tuition fees (either fully or partially) and/or providing financial allowances to assist with living and study expenses.

Scholarship Overview

Study Level: Undergraduate & Postgraduate (Coursework)

Funding Value: From AUD 5,000 up to full tuition fee coverage

Duration: One year or the full duration of the program (depending on scholarship type)

Scholarships Requiring a Separate Application
1. International Scientia Coursework Scholarship (PUCA1025)

Option 1: Full tuition fee waiver for the entire program.

Option 2: AUD 20,000 per year applied directly towards tuition fees.

Eligibility: Applicants must commence full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework at UNSW (excluding UNSW Online and UNSW Canberra).
2. Lily and Dr Ben KC Chng Scholarship (UGCE1129)

Value: AUD 5,000 per year for the full duration of the program.

Must commence full-time study in the School of Built Environment.

Applicant must be a citizen of Singapore.

Must hold a diploma (minimum 2 years) from one of the following Singaporean polytechnics:

3. UNSW Law & Justice International Award (PUCA1028)

Value: AUD 10,000 towards tuition fees for one year.

Eligibility: For students commencing full-time study in the Faculty of Law & Justice (LLB, JD, or LLM programs).
4. UNSW Business School International Pathways Award (PUCA1023)

Value: AUD 15,000 towards tuition fees for one year.

Eligibility:

Must commence full-time study in UNSW Business School programs (excluding AGSM).

Must not have undertaken prior undergraduate study.

Either:

Completion of a pathway program at an approved partner institution, OR
-
Completion of UNSW Foundation Studies (Commerce or Actuarial Commerce).

5. UNSW Business School International Scholarship (PUCA1024)

Value: AUD 5,000 towards tuition fees for the program duration.

Eligibility:

For undergraduate or postgraduate coursework in UNSW Business School.
-
Undergraduate applicants must have completed secondary school without prior tertiary study.
-
Cannot be combined with the Pathways Award.

Scholarships Without an Application
Students who receive an offer of admission to UNSW are automatically considered for the following awards—no separate application is required. Selection is based on academic merit.
Australia’s Global University Award (PUCA1026)

Value: AUD 10,000 (applied in the second term of the first year).

Eligibility: Full-time, on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate coursework students (excluding UNSW Online & Canberra).
UNSW College Award (PUCA1027)

Value: AUD 10,000 (applied in the second term of the first year).

Completion of a UNSW Global Foundation Studies program.

Must commence a full-time undergraduate program (excluding UNSW Canberra).

UNSW Master of Laws Scholarship (PGCA1107)

Value: AUD 20,000 (one year).

Eligibility:

Must hold an undergraduate degree from a Law School Global League member university or an approved UNSW partner.

Commencing full-time LLM students only.

UNSW Articulation Scholarships (UGCA1815, UGCA1817, UGCA1818)

Value: AUD 5,000 per year (stipend) for the program duration.

General Eligibility Criteria

Must be an international student.

Must hold an offer of admission for Term 1, 2026 (by 30 October 2025):

Unconditional offer, OR
-
Conditional offer via the UNSW English Language Program (UEEC), completed before program start.

Year 12 applicants awaiting results or UAC International applicants may apply but will only be awarded after receiving an unconditional offer.
