CrossCulture Program Germany 2026

The CrossCulture Program (CCP) Germany 2026 continues its mission of strengthening civil society engagement through international exchange. For 2026, the program will award 55 to 60 fully-funded fellowships to professionals and dedicated volunteers from over 40 countries. Fellows will participate in on-site placements in Germany, with optional digital participation available depending on travel regulations and individual circumstances.

Comprehensive Funding Package

For International Participants:

  • Monthly stipend: €650

  • Round-trip airfare

Note: The fellowship does not cover expenses for family members (spouses, partners, children). Extra costs must be covered by participants.

For German Participants:

  • Monthly stipend: €1,200

  • Reimbursement of flights, health insurance, visa fees


Eligibility Requirements

Essential Criteria

  1. Nationality: Must be from one of the participating countries

  2. Age: At least 23 years old at time of application

  3. Professional Experience: Minimum two years in civil society organizations

  4. Language Proficiency: Good command of English (main program language); German is advantageous

  5. Health: Able to undertake extended stay abroad

  6. Exclusion: Students are not eligible
