Benefits of the Khalifa University Scholarship

The scholarship covers all tuition fees.

Students enrolled in the master’s program receive a monthly stipend of 8,000 dirhams, and students in the doctoral stage receive a monthly stipend of 12,000 dirhams.
The university provides free housing, or a housing allowance of 2,000 dirhams if university housing is not available.

Eligibility Criteria for Khalifa University Scholarship

For Master’s programme:

Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in a specialty related to the required study program with a cumulative grade point average of no less than 3 out of 4.

Proof of English proficiency with one of the following: a minimum score of 91 on the EmSAT English test, 6.5 on the IELTS test, or an equivalent score on the TOEFL iBT test.

Pass the GRE with a score of at least 150. Exceptions to this requirement are the Master of Engineering in Health, Safety and Environment and Master of Arts in International and Civil Security programs, where no specific minimum score is required.

For PhD programme:

Obtaining a master’s degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.25 out of 4.

Provide proof of English language proficiency with a minimum score of 91 on the EmSAT English test, 6.5 on the IELTS, or an equivalent score on the TOEFL iBT.

Statement of Purpose: It should contain 500 to 1,000 words explaining why you want tojoin the program.
