The Einstein Fellowship in Germany offers a comprehensive funding package, ensuring nearly all costs are covered, including:

  • Stay at Einstein’s summer residence in Caputh.
  • A salary of 10,000 Euros for a duration of 5 to 6 months.

Eligibility Criteria for Einstein Fellowship in Germany :

  • Age must be less than 35 years, with a university degree in one of the humanities, social, or natural sciences.
  • At the end of the fellowship period, fellows are expected to present their project in a public lecture at the Einstein Forum and the Daimler-Benz Foundation.
  • A successful application must highlight the quality, originality and feasibility of the proposed project, along with the applicant’s distinctive intellectual development.
  • The applicant is not required to have begun or completed a doctoral degree.
  • The proposed project does not need to be completely completed during the fellowship period, and may serve as the beginning of a larger project.
