A new role has been created in Dubai for this global events organisation to assist the Director with strategy, content and an upcoming brand refresh from a B2B perspective.
Firmly established in the events sector for several years the team is passionate about an integrated and collaborative approach and fosters an environment of continuous improvement. They have a strong desire to train local people where the events take place in order to leave a sustainable legacy for the future. With this unique mission they have implemented over 200 projects in 25+ countries.

The Marketing Manager will assist in the development of this world-class, award-winning organisation and you should be a highly creative individual who also has the capability to take on a strategic function to support the brand across social media, website, PR, branded collaterals and film.
Working in tandem with the design team to raise the brand profile, you will be instrumental in the pending refresh of the brand and its roll out to market.
Thinking in a unique and innovative way to develop campaigns, it is expected that you will also liaise with external agencies and third-party services to also identify new opportunities to further build the company’s reputation as a global events delivery leader. An excellent communicator you will have strong media relationships and work with the press to build credibility and promote the delivery of specific projects that the company is involved in. Part of the role will also include seeking out opportunities to gain further exposure and this will include PR efforts and award entries.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a strong track record of marketing, communications, and PR functions in a B2B capacity working in the events industry for large scale global activations.
  • 3 years of exposure in the same within the MENA region and an understanding of the UK and international markets is required.
  • You will hold a relevant marketing degree and be confident in the development of marketing campaign strategies, from ideaisation to implementation.
  • An excellent all-rounder with content, social media analytics and managing the full scope of a project this role requires energy, resilience, and exceptional organisation skills.
