The Faculty of Science of the University of Geneva is an internationally recognized leading research institution.
This cutting-edge research covers a broad range of scientific disciplines:
astronomy, biology, chemistry and biochemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, pharmaceutical sciences, earth sciences and the environment.
The Faculty hosts two National Centres of Competence in Research of the highly competitive Swiss National Sciences Foundation (SwissMAP; Planets) as well as many European research projects.
The Masters of the Faculty of Science constitute an ideal training base for an academic but also a professional development, opening on careers in industry, teaching, administration in sciences, communication and media.

This outstanding scholarship program offers funding ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 Swiss francs per year.
This funding is allocated for an academic period of one year, and can be renewed based on a master’s program period not exceeding two years.
This financial support allows students to benefit from their academic achievement and devote themselves to studying without having to think about the financial costs related to study.

Conditions for the University of Geneva Scholarship:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

- Fulfill the requirements of the program you wish to study, which can be found on this page under the Master’s section.
- If the program you intend to study is in French, you must meet the language requirements as stated here.
- Proficiency in English if the program is taught in English.
